I am a CCNA now !

April 1 2005, 12:12 PM, the Screen Splashed with the Message
Congratulation ! and my score was 950 / 1000.

A big sigh of Relief, I cannot express in words, I thanked god and called the Test Administrator, he handed over my CCNA Examination Score report.

I called my Parents & Friends and told them the good news. I feel confident and relieved after my 12 week hardcore prep and late night oil burning.

After the initial formalities like verifying the Photo IDs, Signing the Log sheet, even my Thumb Impression was taken, I don't know why they would need my Thumb Impression ?

I was a little nervous this morning, there were about 2 guys for SCP (Sun Certified Programmer - Java) and 2 guys for Win XP Exam 70-270 and 1 guy for AIX, I Was the only guy there for CCNA, I had no company :( . The guy next me was giving his AIX exam and he failed.

About the Exam.

I had got exactly 56 questions, with 2 simulation & 4 drag and drop. Majority of questions were from VLAN, WAN, hardly 2 or 3 subnetting questions, mostly swiching and Distance Vector Routing (RIP 1 & 2), no IGRP at all.

Simulation

1
VLAN Simlet - (Very Tough) 5 Question. Took 22 Minutes to solve, got stuck.

2
OSPF Simuation, Piece of Cake, The issue was with the OSPF Area, re configured and ping, worked like charm !

Drag and Drop
1 telnet config,
2 Cisco Router Boot Process,
3 ISDN &
4 VLSM.
